Mix one part retro-glamour, one part Christian Dior, and add in a blinding white desert-like background and you get Harper's Bazaar Arabia's October 2010 editorial, Earth Angel. 

That first shot up there is what really took my breathe away. Raspberry lips, with  a hint of freckles on skin almost as porcelain white as the background and that perfectly coiffed bleach blonde hair. The model just makes it for me.  

grease is the word.

I love the styling and the look Catherine McNeil has going here. I like the interpretation of the 50s trend for fall into more of a greaser, or should I say Rizzo, look rather than a, let's say, Sandy or Mad Men-esq look that I have been seeing in other editorials. I especially love the "new age" T-Bird boys with all the tattoos, and how they are actual everyday looking guys, not pretty Ash Stimest/Cole Mohr male model types (not that there is anything wrong with those boys, god knows I love them to death).
